Perkiomen

Reading Turnpike
Company was chartered to build a
turnpike
from the
Perkiomen
Bridge in Collegeville northwest to
Reading
via Trappe and Pottstown. Construction of the
Perkiomen
and
Reading Turnpike
began on March 22, 1811 and was completed on November 15, 1815.
All
