The model has a comprehensive study guide, with additional materials, for instructional use. The kit includes a watertight demonstration tray, three pieces of colored flexible foam, three simulated varnished-cardboard rock structures, and a nonflammable erupting volcano for demonstration. The model’s tray measures 20.0 x 4.25 x 2.0 inches (L x W x H), and volcano measures 7.0 x 7.0 inches (L x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The kit is suitable for grades 5 to 12 and ages 10 to 18. Science education products are commonly used as educational aids in scientific classrooms and office settings.
